The National Intelligencer, Thursday, November 22, 1832 The funeral of the Hon Philip Doddridge took place yesterday from Brown's Hotel. It was attended by almost all the officers of the government residing here, by Ex-President Adams, all the other members of Congress now in the city, the corporate authorities, and a large number of citizens. The procession was formed under the superintendence of the Clerk and Sergeant-at-Arms of the House of Representatives, as follows: |
