Weed. On Friday night last, the 20th inst. at 12 o’clock, Mrs. Arabella E. Weed, wife of Maj. Weed of this city and daughter of Judge McLean. The disease of which this most estimable lady died was lingering, and she suffered much, but she suffered without one word of complaint ever having escaped her from the commencement of her illness to its termination. She has left a void amongst her numerous friends which can never be filled. Her end was eminently peaceful and triumphant.

Weed. In this city on Saturday evening last, Edwin C. Weed in the 57th year of his age, late of Fairfax, Va. and formerly of Greenfield, Saratoga county, New York; in which county as well as Rensselaer, he was extensively and favorably known as an efficient man of business.

Weed. On Monday evening last, Major E.J Weed, Quartermaster of the U.S. Marine Corps -- a man of kind heart, a gentleman in manners and principles, a devoted husband, and a true friend. The friends of the family and the officers of the Army and Navy are respectfully invited to attend his funeral today at 11 o'clock a.m. from the residence of R.M. Whitney, west of the Seven Buildings.

Weed. Suddenly, on Wednesday, November 10, 1926, at 2:45 a.m., at Youngstown, Ohio, Susan M. Weed, the beloved mother of Mrs. John H. Rush, Mrs. J.J. Theron and Hardy L. Nourse, in the 78th year of her age. Services will be held at Zurhorst funeral parlor, 301 East Capitol st., on Saturday, November 13, at 2 p.m. Interment at Congressional Cemetery.
