Vereen, Roxie. On Wednesday, July 17, 1974 at D.C. General Hospital, Mrs. Roxie Vereen of 433 3rd. St. n.w., daughter of Mrs. Louise Harris; sister of Mrs. Evelina Robinson, Mrs. Virginia Thomas, Messrs. Menchon and Clinton Harris and beloved niece, Mrs. Lillie H. Atwell. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends at the Universal Funeral Home, Inc., 145 Kennedy st. n.w., today after 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, at 12 noon. Interment Congressional Cemetery.
