Prout. On Monday morning the 28th inst. Mrs. Sarah Prout aged sixty years, widow of the late Wm. Prout of this city after a long and protracted illness which she bore with Christian resignation. Her funeral took place yesterday afternoon from her late residence, near the Navy Yard.

Prout. At Key West (Florida) Dec, 7, 1840, aged 41 years, Mr. William Prout, of the firm of C.S. Fowler & Co. of this city, and formerly for many years engaged in mercantile business here. Few citizens amongst us were more respected and esteemed than he; and a large circle of his friends sincerely sympathize with his wife, (who had attended him on his voyage in pursuit of health ) his numerous family of children, now fatherless, and his other afflicted relatives.
