Peter. Yesterday morning the 2d instant, Mr. William Peter in the 72d year of his age. He was a native of Scotland, but for the last 30 years a resident of this city. He sustained the character of an upright citizen, a kind neighbor and an exemplary Christian. The friends of the family are invited to attend his funeral at his late residence near the Navy Yard on Wednesday the 4th instant at half past 1 o'clock p.m.
