Morfit. On Wednesday night, Mrs. Hannah Morfit formerly of Norfolk, Va. The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend her funeral from the house of her son, Henry M. Morfit on New Jersey ave. tomorrow (Sat.) afternoon at 3 o'clock.

Died Wednesday 4 Jan 1843 at 10 o'clock at night at the house of her son H.M. Morfit on Capitol Hill New Jersey Ave. in Washington City at the age of 82 years. Colonel Hancock of Newtown, Princess Anne Co, VA, in 1779-80, was the guardian of Henrietta. (See letter of N. M. Morfit Apr 19, 1843) Buried on Saturday at 4 o'clock at the Burial Ground near the Eastern Branch in Washington City called the Congress burying ground.
