Merideth. On Monday, March 19th, 1883, at 1:30 o'clock a.m., Richard Ledoux, son of Annie E. and the late James M. Merideth, of Richmond, Va.

In the death of Ledoux we feel that the bereaved mother and little ones have indeed lost more than son and brother. Having known him for many years, we can speak of his truly noble qualities--large-hearted and generous to a fault, always having a kind word for the dear ones at home, who have looked to him for comfort in many trials, and who must now bid farewell to him on earth forever. To his mother he was ever watchful of her interest and comfort, and to the little ones both father and brother.

Funeral services from the residence of his mother, No. 628 I street northwest, Wednesday, March 21st, at 3 o'clock p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
