By this unexpected and distressing dispensation of Providence, a large family have been deprived of a kind and affectionate relative. Although endowed by nature with a sound and discriminating mind, he had yet been prevented by long continued ill health from mingling much with the world, and of thus adding to the circle of friends who now mourn his loss.
