McFee, Annie | d. 8 Jan 1888 | R 96 S 208
McFee. Fell asleep in Jesus on the 8th of January, 1888, Annie, beloved wife of the late John McFee. Farewell, dear mother, we'll meet once more, But not upon life's changeful sea; 'Twill be on the blissful, heavenly shore, Where storms, wind, or tempest can never be. Bright forms beckon her to that land, With her last farewell to her children dear; She left us all to join you heavenly band, And wait for our coming there. Their good mother and friend, after a long life filled with acts of untiring and loving ministry to others and earnest devotion to her Master, passed away peacefully to her eternal home, with full trust in Him on whom she had so long believed and in full hope of a glorious immortality. Conscious until the last, surrounded by those who loved her, her warm and loyal heart was filled with the remembrance of the tender care she had received from her loving daughters and sympathizing friends. She fell asleep in Jesus to awaken in a glorious immortality. A Friend. Funeral services from Westminster Presbyterian church on Wednesday, January 11, at two o'clock p.m.
