May. On yesterday morning at 4 o'clock, on the Capitol Hill, in this City, aged 29 years, Mrs. Julia M. May, the wife of Dr. Frederick May, to the great grief of her husband and numerous friends, to whom she was endeared, by every virtue which could adorn a wife, a daughter, and a mother. In all those relations she was exemplary in her conduct and deportment, but, to her numerous offspring, consisting of eight small children, her loss will be irreparable, to whom she was not only the most tender of parents, but the most discreet teacher and instructress, in those principles of piety and virtue, which would insure their future happiness and render them useful to society. It has been the will of God, that she should be called from the discharge of those precious duties to a better world, and the only consolation left for her friends is in patient submission to the divine will, and proclaiming, in humble resignation, "O Lord, thy will be done".

The funeral will take place this morning at 11 o'clock precisely, from the house of Dr. May, which the friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend.
