Lotz. November 18, 1924, at her residence, 210 Allegheny ave., Takoma Park, Md., Katie, the beloved daughter of Mamie Smoot, aged 30 years. Funeral from 1338 D st. n.e., on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment Congressional Cemetery.

Lotz. On Friday, June 20th, 1884, at 2 o’clock p.m., Lizzie J., beloved wife of J.C. Lotz, of Treasury Department, aged 49 years after a long and painful illness, which she bore with Christian fortitude.
     Has gone! The spotless soul has gone
     Triumphant to her place above
     The prison walls are broken down,
     The angels speed her last remove,
     And, trusting, on their wings she flies,
     And gains her rest in Paradise.
Her funeral will take place from Waugh M.E. church, Sunday, June 22, at 3 p.m. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend.
