     They say that life is like a flower,
     That blooms a few short days,
     Perchance 'tis but a single hour,
     It withers and decays.

     This life was not unlike the bloom;
     The fragrance that it shed
     Dispenses, from the grave, the gloom
     Tells us she is not dead.
The funeral will take place from 1331 K street southeast tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon, at two o'clock. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. (Southern Maryland papers please copy).

     'Tis hard to break the tender chord
     When love has bound the heart.
     'Tis hard, so hard, to speak the words,
     Must we forever part?

     Dearest loved one, we have laid thee
     In the peaceful grave's embrace,
     But thy memory will be cherished
     Till we see thy heavenly face.
          By Her Husband

     There will be a glorious dawn;
