Hitte. On Tuesday, April 25, 1905 at 4 a.m. after a lingering illness which she bore with Christian fortitude, Mary I. Hitte (nee Ralley) of St. Mary's county, Md., beloved wife of John H. Hitte.
     She is past her trouble, she is past her pain;
     We cease to weep for her, tears are in vain.
     We calm the troubles of our breast,
     For she who lingered is at rest.
