     Death's cruel dart has pierced our hearts
     And bowed us down with grief
     And beneath the silent sod.
     Our darling father sleeps.

     Farewell dear father; a long farewell,
     For us you have labored many years;
     You always strove to do your best,
     But now you have gone to take your rest.

Funeral services will be held at the Central Union Mission, 622 Louisianna ave., Saturday, October 23 at 3 o'clock p.m. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend.
