The deceased had attained fine intellectual endowments, and cultivated the purest moral feelings, which were displayed with all the sweetness of a benevolent disposition. He closed his short earthly course with the happiest hopes of an existence, promised to those who trust in the power, the mercy, and the promises of God through Jesus Christ.
