Hamby. Entered into eternal rest Tuesday August 30, 1921, at 10:15 p.m., at his residence, 1228 W street s.e., J. Lee Hamby, dearly beloved husband of Mamie Perkins Hamby, in his 38th year. Cornish and b rother of Melvin L. Hamby, Lucille C. Scaggs, Gladys Dick and Florence Simpson. Funeral services at the Simmons Bros. Funeral Home, 1661 Good Hope rd. se. (parking facilities) on Tuesday, October 10, at 2 p.m. Interment Congressional Cemetery.
