  Hagan, Willie L. d. 27 Aug 1888 21 yrs. 6 mos. 5 days R 18 S 188
Hagan. Departed this life, August 27, 1888, Willie L. Ragan, eldest son of Richard I. and Sarah C. Ragan, aged 21 years 6 months and 5 days.
Our Willie is sleeping so free from all pain,
Oh, wake him not, sweet Spirit to suffer again.
He slumbers so soundly, oh, let him sleep on,
His sickness is ended and troubles are gone.

Oh, think what he suffered, and moaned with pain,
In the long night hours we soothed him in vain,
Till God in His mercy sent down from above
An angel that whispered a message of love.
          By His Parents
Funeral from Epiphany Chapel, Maryland avenue southwest, Thursday 3 o'clock. (Maryland and Pennsylvania papers please copy).
