Gilbert. Departed this life on December 24, 1896 at 10 p.m. at 735 5th street southeast, Charles E., youngest son of Julia and William Gilbert in the 24th year of his age.
     A precious one from us has gone,
     A voice we loved is stilled.

Gilbert. On Thursday, February 21, 1924, at Emergency hospital, Daisy E., beloved wife of William H. Gilbert aged 49 years. Funeral from Deal's undertaking parlors, 816 H street northeast, on Saturday, February 23, at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at Congressional cemetery.

Gilbert. At 7:30 p.m., June 8, 1897, Fannie M. Gilbert a native of New Hampshire, but a resident of this city for the past 32 years. Funeral services at her late residence, 1028 10th street northwest, Thursday June 10 at 5 p.m.

Gilbert. On November 15, 1897 at 8 a.m., Julia A., beloved wife of William H. and mother of William H. and the late Charles E. Gilbert in the 50th year of his age, after a long and painful illness.
     Past her suffering past her pain
     Cease to weep for tears are vain.
     God in His wisdom has recalled
     His loved one home to Heaven.

     Dearest mother thou hast left us.
     We thy loss most deeply feel,
     But 'tis God who hast bereft us.
