Elder, John Thompson. On Friday, June 14, 1963, at his residence, 2308 Colston drive, Silver Spring, Md., John Thompson Elder, beloved husband of Minnie B. Elder, father of John Thompson Elder, jr., and brother of Mrs. Ernest Cory of College Park, Md., and Mrs. Stanley Day of Davidsonville, Md. Six grandchildren also survive. Elder. On January 11th, 1889, at 3:30 o'clock a.m., Mattie Jane Elder, only child of Martha J. and John Elder, aged 11 months and 19 days. Funeral from parents' residence, No. 404 Second street northwest, today (Friday) at 3 o'clock p.m.

Elder. At Children's Hospital, January 6, 1902 at 6 p.m. of typhoid fever, May Belle, beloved and eldest daughter of John W. and Martha J. Elder, aged 12 years 7 months and 11 days. Funeral from Wright's undertaking establishment, 10th and O streets northwest Wednesday January 8 at 2 o'clock p.m.

Elder, Minnie Barton. On Monday, October 3, 1966, at the Washington Sanitarium and Hospital, Minnie Barton Elder, wife of the late John T. Elder Sr. and mother of John T. Elder Sr. and mother of John T. Elder Jr. She also is survived by six grandchildren. Friends may call at Joseph Gawler's Sons, Wisconsin ave. at Harrison st. n.w., on Wednesday, October 5, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. (parking on premises). Mass will be offered at the Christ the King Catholic Church, 2300 East-West Hwy., Silver Spring, Md., on Thursday, October 6, at 11 a.m. Interment Congressional Cemetery.

Elder. Yesterday morning after a long and painful illness, William Elder, Esq. a native of Derry, Ireland, but for the last 26 years a resident of this city. His funeral will take place from his late residence opposite the Marine Garrison this day, April 1 at 3 o'clock p.m. The friends of the family and the public generally are invited to attend.
