Elder, John Thompson. On Friday, June 14, 1963, at his residence, 2308 Colston drive, Silver Spring, Md., John Thompson Elder, beloved husband of Minnie B. Elder, father of John Thompson Elder, jr., and brother of Mrs. Ernest Cory of College Park, Md., and Mrs. Stanley Day of Davidsonville, Md. Six grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at Gawler's Chapel, Wisconsin ave. at Harrison st. n.w. (courtesy parking on premises), from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m., where services will be held on Monday, June 17, at 10 a.m. Interment Congressional Cemetery.

Elder. Yesterday morning after a long and painful illness, William Elder, Esq. a native of Derry, Ireland, but for the last 26 years a resident of this city. His funeral will take place from his late residence opposite the Marine Garrison this day, April 1 at 3 o'clock p.m. The friends of the family and the public generally are invited to attend.
