Craven. Yesterday morning, at half past one o'clock, at the residence of her grandfather, Commodore Thomas Tingey, in the Navy Yard, Miss Ann Maria Craven, daughter of Tunis Craven, Esq. of New York. The friends and acquaintances of Commodore and Mrs. Tingey, and of the family generally, are respectfully invited to attend her funeral at three o'clock this afternoon, from the house of Commodore Tingey, without further notice.

Craven. In this city, about 9 o'clock yesterday morning, Elijah R. Craven, A.M. and M.D. Professor of Botany in the Columbian College, in the District of Columbia. In his decease, Society is bereft of a useful member--learning, of an accomplished proficient--his profession, of one of its brightest ornaments--the infant Seminary, with which he was connected, of a valuable professor: And his aged parents, his companion and relatives, have maintained a loss which time can never repair. Could all the virtues which adorn the most improved state of humanity, escape the shaft of Death, had he still lived.

Craven. On Monday evening in the 50th year of her age, Miss Isabella Craven. Her life was a pattern of excellence--her departure calm and peaceful. She lived an ornament to the Church of God and died in the triumphs of the Christian faith--lamented by all who knew her. Her funeral will take place this afternoon (Wed.) at 4 o'clock, from the house of her father, Mr. John Craven, near the Baptist Church which the friends of the family are invited to attend without further notice.

Craven. Yesterday morning, about 3 o'clock, John Craven, Esq. in the 88th year of his age. He was a native of New Jersey, and removed with the Government to this city in 1800. He was a Clerk in the office of the Accountant of the Navy, until it was changed into the office of the Fourth Auditor of the Treasury where he faithfully performed his duties until prevented by the decline of age. The friends and acquaintances of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral this afternoon at four o'clock.

Craven. Died on Saturday evening, the 5th instant, Mrs. Nancy Craven, relict of the late John Craven, Esq., in the 87th year of her age. For nearly seventy years she was a member of the Baptist church, and an ornament to her Christian profession. She died in perfect peace. Her friends are invited to attend her funeral this (Tuesday) morning, at 11 o'clock, from the residence of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. S. Craven, corner of G and 18th streets.
