Cowan, James Edward | d. 2 Oct 1832 | 25 yrs. | R 53 S 29 | |
Cowan. On Tuesday last, in this city, after an illness of about four weeks, Mr. James Edward Cowan, aged 27 years, which he bore with Christian fortitude and resignation. But the writer of this article can say, with melancholy pleasure, that he gave manifest evidence of a full belief in the Savior of mankind -- and, in possession of his senses to the last moment of his life, resigned his breath with a conviction that his soul would be received into the mansions of eternal happiness.
