Cockrill. On the 16th inst., after a short illness, Ernest, only child of Samuel and Rebecca Cockrill, aged 10 months and 9 days. The friends and relatives of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the residence of his grandfather, Mr. M.H. Grimes, No. 442 K street east, between 6th and 7th sts., near the Navy Yard, Sunday afternoon, at two o'clock.
     Little Ernest, fare thee well,
     Thou hast gone to Heaven to dwell,
     Thou was too good on earth to stay,
     That's why the Lord took you away.

     But in Heaven we hope to meet you,
