Chapin. On the 28th of February, 1868, at 8 1/2 o'clock p.m., Herman L. Chapin, aged 45 years 9 months and 17 days. His disease was protracted and painful, but he died happy and triumphant in the full assurance of a blessed immortality. His friends, and those of the family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral at half past two o'clock p.m., on Sunday, the 1st of March, from his residence, No. 529 13th street, between B and C streets south.
