Causten. On Tuesday evening last, Annie Payne, the beloved wife of Dr. James H. Causten, jr. in the 33d year of her age. Funeral services will take place on Saturday morning next at 11 o'clock from St. John's Church in which her friends are requested to participate without further invitation.

Adopted daughter of Dolly Madison.

Causten. On Saturday last, Charles Isaac, son of James H. Causten of this city aged nearly 2 years. He was a child of uncommon intelligence and excited the admiration and affectionate regard of all that knew him. His family have much cause to regret the early fall of one so interesting and promising. His remains are deposited in the Congressional Cemetery.

Causten. At Weston, on Sunday morning, the 27th July, of disease of the heart, Mrs. Eliza Causten, consort of James H. Causten, in the 64th year of her age. In all the relations of life this estimable lady was exemplary, and her loss will be sincerely mourned not only by her immediate family, by whom she was fondly cherished, but by numerous friends, and also by the poor, to whom her charity was freely dispensed. The friends of the family are invited to attend her funeral without further notice at St. John’s Church, on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 12 m.

Causten. Monday, February 16, 1885, Isidora C., widow of the late Manuel C. Causten, aged forty. Funeral will take place from her late residence, 710 Tenth street northwest, Wednesday, Febuary 18, at 2:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
  Causten, James Hyman (Jr.) b. Jul 1818 - d. 3 Oct 1856 38 yrs. Causten Vault
Causten. At Weston, the residence of his father on the 3d instant, Dr. James H. Causten, eldest son of James H. Causten, aged 38 years. In the death of Dr. Causten our city has lost a valuable and estimable citizen, and his family one of its brightest ornaments. His funeral will leave St. John’s Church at 1 o’clock on Monday, the 6th instant and his friends are invited to attend without further notice.
