  Burgdorf. Departed this life on the 20th inst. after a long and painful illness which she bore with Christian fortitude, Annie Rebecca, the wife of Augustus Burgdorf and the daughter of James and Susan Espey in the 23d year of her age. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral on Friday 2 o’clock from her late residence, 444 D street south.

  Burgduff. April 1, 1873 after a short illness, Mrs. Mary Burgduff, formerly of Wampsville, N.Y. aged 52 years. The funeral took place today from the residence of her daughter, D.A. Balwin, No. 60 C street n.w. Her remains were laid to rest in the Congressional Cemetery.

From the residence of his grandfather, James Espey, Maryland Ave. near 4 1/2 st. s.w. The friends of the family are respectfully invited.
