  Acker. Yesterday morning, in this city, Mr. Jacob Acker, after a short but severe illness. The deceased was a native of Bavaria, and was 36 years of age. He was an esteemed citizen, an affectionate husband, and a tender father, having left a wife and five children to mourn their severe loss.
